Kids' Seed-to-Sprout Garden Club

A monthly garden club for ages 5–10: plant a seed, hunt pollinators, taste what's ripe.

About this event

A monthly garden club for ages 5 to 10 inside Sunken Gardens: planting, watering, bug hunting and tasting whatever is ripe that week. Every child leaves with a potted seed to grow at home and a stamped journal page, and the group meets again the second Saturday of each month.

What you'll do

  • Plant a bean or sunflower seed to take home
  • Meet the worms in the garden's worm bin
  • Hunt pollinators with nets and magnifiers
  • Taste something growing in the kids' beds
  • Get a stamped garden journal for the season
