Philharmonic Masterworks: Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto

About this event

Returning guest Yuki Tanaka performs Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35, followed after intermission by Sibelius's Symphony No. 2 in D major under conductor Carlos Mendoza. The Sarasota performance is the orchestra's Gulf Coast home date, with a 6:30pm pre-concert conversation with the soloist open to all ticket holders. The hall's bay-facing glass wall stays open before the performance and during intermission.
