Holiday Brass & Carols with the Philharmonic
A family holiday concert with orchestra, brass choir, handbells and a sing-along of Florida favorites.
About this event
The Philharmonic's holiday program pairs the full orchestra with a 16-piece brass choir and the Jacksonville Community Handbell Ensemble for carols, a Nutcracker suite excerpt, and Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride. The final half hour is a sing-along led by soprano Renée Whitfield, with lyric sheets handed out in the lobby. Children under 12 are free with a paying adult; an instrument petting zoo runs in the lobby before the show.
